Susan Belcher

Licensed Zumba and Zumba Gold instructor

Susan is a Dancer and Choreographer. She is a Colorado University Boulder graduate in Theater and Dance who is Zumba and Zumba Gold Certified as well as a certified Group Fitness Trainer.

Susan is passionate about Dance, Fitness and Heath. She is also the mother of two boys and the Founder of Spring Forward For Autism.

Her Zumba classes provide a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.

I am a source of educational training and workouts for the world of dance fitness. Our focus is Hip Hop fitness training and inspiring all people to choose health as a way of life. I offer three levels of training and workouts inspired by our philosophy which is: Love it, Learn it, Teach it by reaching all people world wide through hip hop fitness!!! JeannieFit is also a Continuing Education Provider for AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) and offers Continuing Education Credits for AFAA instructors who attend the JeannieFit Hip Hop U Instructor Training! Meredith specializes Tabata a High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T) workout that is broken down into 4 minute blocks. The structure of the Tabata 4 minute block is:

  • workout hard for 20 seconds
  •  rest 10 seconds
  • complete 8 rounds of the 20/10 seconds
  • recover for 30 seconds before next block

This class last 55 minutes including a warm-up, 10 blocks, abs and cool down/stretch… Tabata is a great quick workout that will improve your athletic condition, improve your glucose metabolism, and improve how much fat you burn… Incorporate this workout into your fitness routine and see results!! Be ready to sweat 🙂
